Since 2014, CGICE have written a 10 year Structural Defects Insurance book of business – often called latent defect insurance, home defect insurance or structural warranty.
The Policy can cover new builds, complete or partially completed builds, timber frame constructions, mixed-use projects, barn conversions and distressed (insolvent) properties.
It covers any major structural defect in materials or workmanship.
