Dan Gooding

Dan has worked in the insurance industry for over 24 years. He specialises in UK personal lines insurance, having worked in senior positions at AXA.

Dan started his professional career in 2001 at AXA within the operational function, before specialising in Product, Underwriting and Direct Trading. He progressed to Senior Home Development Underwriter, managing all aspects of distribution and performance of strategic intermediary schemes, before becoming Senior Trading and Acquisition Manager, responsible for the financial targets for AXA and Swiftcover direct brands.

Dan has a wealth of experience in delivering new products to market, most recently as 2021 re-launching Axa and Swiftcover's direct to consumer propositions. Dan has extensive personal lines experience spanning across direct, broker and brand assurance arrangements and joined CGICE in 2025.
