Danny Gibson

Danny’s first underwriting position was at G E Lloyd-Roberts Syndicate 55, where he specialised in writing UK liability.

By 1993 Danny was running this account. In 1996 he moved to Octavian as a general liability underwriter for RE Brown Syndicate 702. Danny was also a member of the Lloyd’s Non Marine Association EL Committee during his time underwriting at Lloyd’s. In July 2000, Danny changed direction and worked for a North London underwriting agency, writing UK liability business on behalf of a number of Lloyd’s syndicates before establishing CGICE in 2003. Danny is CGICE’s chief executive officer and is also responsible for the company’s underwriting.
